STAY READY is a hands-on, scenario-based training designed by experts to help women (18+) recognize potential threats, respond with confidence, and safely get away. This workshop is part of the Femme Force Training program, a women's self-defense initiative created by Sister, We Hear You.
Being held at Revolution Fitness in Crown Point, IN on
October 23, 2026 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
Check-in starts at 6:15pm.
Led by Police Lieutenant Bobby Ballas, Mixed Martial Artist and Certified Defense Tactics Instructor & Trainer and Lisa Kaszubski, CMP, MCPC, Expert Facilitator, Award-Winning Industry Leader, and Certified Coach. This experience combines real-world defense tactics with confidence-building mindset work.
We’ll recreate real-life situations where women and the people they love are more vulnerable, from walking alone, pumping gas, leaving the grocery store, and getting into your car to everyday moments when your attention is divided. You’ll learn what to look for, how to trust your instincts, how to respond, and how to create an opportunity to escape.
And you won’t just watch, you’ll practice.

In the United States, approximately 509,000 women were victims of violent crime in 2023.
Globally, an estimated 736 million women, one in three, have been subjected to some form of physical and/or sexual violence, at least once in their life.
The most recent global estimates from the U.N. Office on Drugs and Crime show that, on average, more than 5 women or girls are killed every hour (or one every 11 minutes) by someone in their own family.
One in five women in the United States experienced completed or attempted rape during their lifetime.
81% of women reported experiencing some form of sexual harassment and/or assault in their lifetime.
According to the United Nations’ International Labour Organization, human traffickers victimize an estimated 27.6 million people worldwide. 23% are in sex trafficking of which 78% are women and girls.
